Summary:To make a roller of a double-pitch chain easy to grip.SOLUTION: With d1 being a roller diameter of a double-pitch chain, Z2 being the number of operation teeth that mesh with rollers per rotation of a sprocket, and P2 being a pitch of the double-pitch chain, (i) a radius R of a tooth bottom circular arc 12a is as R=(1.005d1+0.076)/2, (ii) a radius E of a tooth root circular arc 12b is E=1.3025d1+0.038, (iii) an angle of a direction line ab connecting a center a of the tooth bottom circular arc 12a and a center b of a tooth tip circular arc 16 with respect to a reference direction line RL passing through the center a of the tooth bottom circular arc 12a and orthogonal to a sprocket radius direction line BL passing through the center a is D=90°/Z2, (iv) a distance G from the center a of the tooth bottom circular arc 12a and the center b of the tooth tip circular arc 16 is G=α.d1, (v) a tooth tip outside diameter is da=pitch circle diameter +P2/2×(0.6-tan(90°/Z2), and (vi) α>1.4.
