Summary:To fix a magnet to a magnet hole of a rotor core while insulation property of the magnet to the rotor core is secured.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a rotor for rotary electric machine includes: a step of preparing a rotor core having a magnet hole and having a radial projection which elastically deforms in the magnet hole; a step of preparing a magnet in which a first resin material having insulation property is applied to a magnet surface on a first side, which faces the projection, in a radial inner magnet surface and a radial outer magnet surface, and a second resin material having a heat softening or melting characteristic and insulation property is applied to the magnet surface on a second side which is opposite to the first side; an insertion step of inserting the magnet in an axial direction into the magnet hole of the rotor core and elastically deforming the projection; and a bonding step of bonding the magnet and the rotor core with the second resin material by softening or melting the second resin material between the rotor core and the magnet by heating after the insertion step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ロータコアに対する磁石の絶縁性を確保しつつ、ロータコアの磁石孔に磁石を固定する。【解決手段】磁石孔を有するロータコアであって、磁石孔に弾性変形する径方向の突起を有するロータコアを準備する工程と、径方向内側の磁石表面と径方向外側の磁石表面のうちの、突起に対向する第1側の磁石表面に、絶縁性を有する第1樹脂材料が付与され、かつ、第1側に対して逆側の第2側の磁石表面に、熱により軟化又は溶融する特性及び絶縁性を有する第2樹脂材料が付与された磁石を準備する工程と、ロータコアの磁石孔内に、軸方向に磁石を挿入し、突起を弾性変形させる挿入工程と、挿入工程の後に、加熱によりロータコアと磁石との間の第2樹脂材料を軟化又は溶融させることで、第2樹脂材料により磁石とロータコアとを接着する接着工程とを含む、回転電機用ロータの製造方法が開示される。【選択図】図4
