Summary:To provide a dangerous area identification device, map data, and a dangerous area identification method and program for effectively identifying dangerous areas.SOLUTION: In a navigation device 10, a dangerous area identification unit 34 identifies dangerous areas of popping out based on past information showing situations of the past pop-out accidents acquired by a past information acquisition unit 24 and surrounding information showing situations around vehicles acquired by a surrounding information acquisition unit 32. Here, the past information is configured to include information on surrounding facility identification information (information relating to identified feature) used for identifying dangerous areas of popping out and information relating to pop-out target objects. Therefore, a pop-out dangerous area identification unit 34 can identify the pop-out dangerous areas caused by the feature (facility) in a pop-out accident. Therefore, the navigation device 10 can effectively identify the pop-out dangerous areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】危険箇所を効果的に識別する。【解決手段】ナビゲーション装置10では、過去情報取得部24によって取得した、過去の飛び出し事故の状況を示す過去情報と、周囲情報取得部32によって取得した、車両周囲の状況を示す周囲情報と、に基づいて、危険箇所識別部34が飛び出し危険箇所を識別する。ここで、過去情報は、飛び出し危険箇所を識別するために用いられる周囲施設識別情報(識別地物に関する情報)及び飛び出し対象体に関する情報を含んで構成されている。このため、飛び出し事故において、地物(施設)に起因して生じる飛び出し危険箇所を、危険箇所識別部34によって識別することができる。したがって、ナビゲーション装置10によって、飛び出し危険箇所を効果的に識別することができる。【選択図】図4
