To provide an aroma holding device which can improve persistence of aroma while avoiding the increase in size of the device.SOLUTION: An aroma holding device includes an aroma cartridge case, and an aroma cartridge that is configured to be engageable with the aroma cartridge case. The aroma cartridge has: a holding space which is formed parallel to a central axis of the aroma cartridge case and holds aroma; a first opening for opening the holding space to the outside of the aroma cartridge; and a second opening which opens the holding space to the outside of the aroma cartridge, and is provided on a side opposite to the first opening across the holding space.
