To provide a vehicular lamp system which allows a driver of a vehicle to easily recognize a pedestrian, and prevents the pedestrian from feeling glare even if it is rainy.SOLUTION: A vehicular lamp system has a driver for turning on/off or dimming a part of a projection range of light of a lamp unit. In the projection range of the light of the lamp unit, a first projection range where light is directly projected to the head of a pedestrian, and a second projection range where the projected light is regularly reflected on a road surface and reaches the body excluding the head of the pedestrian are determined.
