Summary:To provide a method of roasting valuable metal-containing waste, which can stabilize the S concentration of roasted ore.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of roasting valuable metal-containing waste in which multiple kinds of valuable metal-containing waste are blended, oxidized, and roasted in a kiln, the method including: measuring at least the S concentration of each of the multiple kinds of valuable metal-containing waste (S1); blending the multiple kinds of valuable metal-containing waste so that the S concentration of the blended raw material is equal to or lower than M/V (S2, S3); and oxidizing and roasting the blended raw material in a kiln (S4).
