The bilayer coating film includes a color coating film that is formed over the coated matter and contains a white pigment, a brilliant coating film that is formed over the color coating film and contains a brilliant material, and a clear coating film formed over the brilliant coating film. A luminosity L*45 based on a spectral reflectance that light I45 irradiated at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the surface of the bilayer coating film is received at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to regularly reflected light is equal to or larger than 70 and equal to or smaller than 90. A ratio of a luminosity L*5 based on a spectral reflectance that the light I45 is received as an angle of 5 degrees with respect to the regularly reflected light to a luminosity L*15 based on a spectral reflectance that the light I45 is received at an angle of 15 degrees with respect to the regularly reflected light, L*5/L*15, is equal to or larger than 1.2 and equal to or smaller than 2.5.
