To provide one form of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises an apparatus body that includes a photosensitive body having an electrostatic latent image formed thereon and a development unit that develops the photosensitive body with toner and discharges a recording material having an image formed thereon with toner into a discharge tray, a toner supply port on which a supply container is mounted to supply toner to a toner storage section in the development unit, and a non-contact communication section that includes an antenna and receives a signal to perform user authentication.
