Summary:To suppress discharge characteristics from deteriorating.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device is provided with: a liquid discharge head that comprises a first piezoelectric element that is driven in response to supply of a driving signal, a first nozzle that discharges liquid by pressure applied when the first piezoelectric element is driven, and a first individual passage, communicated with the first nozzle, through which liquid is supplied to the first nozzle and liquid not discharged from the first nozzle is ejected; a circulation control part that controls circulation motion of circulating liquid in the first individual passage; and a micro vibration control part that supplies a driving signal having a first waveform to the first piezoelectric element and controls micro vibration motion of vibrating liquid in the first nozzle while preventing the first nozzle from discharging liquid.
