To solve the problem in which: a pressing mark or damage is easily left on a lower surface of a top plate body when an extended top plate is detachably attached to an end part of the top plate body.SOLUTION: A furniture with a top plate as a desk comprises: a top plate body 3; and an extended top plate 4 which is fixed to an end part of the top plate body 3 with a tightening mechanism K. The extended top plate 4 includes: an upper surface side component 41 which is spliced to a top face 3a of the top plate body 3; and a lower surface side component 42 which faces a lower face 3b pf the top plate body 3.
