To provide a washing machine having a wireless module that suppresses cost increase by decreasing height of a product while securing communication performance.SOLUTION: A washing machine according to the disclosure has a case body, an upper frame body disposed on an upper part of the case body, an input port that is disposed on the upper frame body and allows clothing to be put in, and an operation panel unit that is disposed near the input port to operate the washing machine. The operation panel unit has an operation panel, an operation substrate that is disposed in the inside of the operation panel and receives input by being operated through the operation panel, and a protection case that stores the operation substrate and is mounted on the operation panel. A substrate of a wireless module can be fitted in substantially parallel with the operation substrate on a rear face of the protection case.
