To provide a method for evaluating fingerprint resistance, which is applicable to an on-vehicle display device, a laminate excellent in the fingerprint resistance satisfying an evaluation standard by the evaluation method, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device having the laminate.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for evaluating fingerprint resistance of the surface of an object, in which a measurement value difference Δ L*(θ) between a portion on the surface of the object to which artificial fingerprint liquid has been transferred and a portion to which it has not been transferred, which is determined by an equation (1) defined in the specification using a variable angle colorimeter, is used.
