Summary:To provide a protector and a wire harness that can expand the range of motion of an electric wire member.SOLUTION: A protector (30) surrounding the outer periphery of an electric wire member (20) includes a cylindrical movable member (31) that holds an electric wire member, and a cylindrical case (32) that rotatably holds the movable member. The movable member includes a cylindrical spherical portion (40) having a housing portion (41) through which the electric wire member passes. The case includes a spherical accommodation space (63) that rotatably accommodates the spherical portion, and enlarged space (80, 81) that expands the range of motion of the electric wire member.
