Summary: | To provide a production method for obtaining highly purified one-end functional organopolysiloxane.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for producing one-end functional organopolysiloxane having the following general formula (1), using cyclopolysiloxane having 3 to 5 silicon atoms as a raw material, wherein R1 is independently an alkyl group or a phenyl group, and A represents a hydrogen atom, a vinyl group linked by a single bond or an organic group, or a (meth)acrylate group linked by a single bond or an organic group.
