The transfer device 30 includes: an upper transfer section 31 supported by the lifting unit 20; and a lower transfer section 32 supported by the same lifting unit 20 as the upper transfer section 31. The upper transfer section 31 includes: an upper support section 31S that supports an article W; and an upper ejection/retraction drive section 31A that moves the upper support section 31S in and out. The lower transfer section 32 includes: a lower support section 32S that supports the article W; and a lower ejection/retraction drive section 32A that moves the lower support section 32S in and out.
