Summary: | To provide a servo driver that suppresses increase in a size and can increase charge capacity for regenerative energy.SOLUTION: The present servo driver comprises: a converter unit that converts an AC voltage input thereto into a DC voltage and outputs the DC voltage; and an inverter unit that receives the DC voltage from the converter unit and supplies a driving current to a motor. The converter unit includes a power storage unit that stores regenerative power input from the motor in a regeneration state, and that performs discharge when the voltage of the power storage unit becomes equal to or more than a first DC voltage due to the storage of the regenerative power, and the converter unit outputs, to the inverter unit, the DC voltage at a second DC voltage lower than a rated voltage of the inverter unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
