Summary:To secure excellent combustion under various operation conditions.SOLUTION: A controller of an engine device comprises: an engine 10 comprises a combustion chamber C comprising a main chamber 1 and a sub-chamber 11, an injection device 9 that supplies fuel to the combustion chamber C, and an ignition device 4 facing into the sub-chamber; means of detecting or predicting occurrence of knocking; and control means of performing control to avoid knocking. The control means performs fuel injection reduction control to reduce an injection amount of fuel of sub-chamber injection for supplying fuel to the sub-chamber 11 by the injection device 9 when the occurrence of knocking is detected or predicted, and performs ignition energy increase control to increase ignition energy of an air-fuel mixture by the ignition device 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】様々な運転状況下において良好な燃焼を確保する。【解決手段】主室1及び副室11を備えた燃焼室Cと、燃焼室Cに燃料を供給する噴射装置9と、前記副室内に臨む点火装置4とを備えたエンジン10と、ノッキングの発生を検出又は予測する手段と、ノッキングを回避する制御を行う制御手段とを備え、制御手段は、ノッキングの発生が検出又は予測された際に、噴射装置9により副室11へ燃料を供給する副室噴射の燃料の噴射量を低減する燃料噴射低減制御を行い、且つ、点火装置4による混合気への点火エネルギを増大させる点火エネルギ増大制御を行うエンジンの制御装置とした。【選択図】図1
