To provide an electric compressor that can restrain corrosion from progressing inside a housing.SOLUTION: An electric compressor 10 comprises: a compression part 30 for compressing fluid; an electric motor 40 for driving the compression part 30; an inverter 50 for driving the electric motor 40; a housing 20 housing the compression part 30, the electric motor 40, and the inverter 50; and a soundproof cover 60 covering the housing 20. The housing 20 comprises a first housing component 21, a second housing component 22, a third housing component 23, and a fourth housing component 24. The soundproof cover 60 comprises respective opposed parts 70, 80, and 90 opposed to the housing 20.
