Summary: | To provide a honeycomb filter which is excellent in capturing performance and has pressure loss reduced.SOLUTION: The honeycomb filter comprises columnar honeycomb structure parts 4 having porous bulkheads 1 arranged to surround a plurality of cells 2 extending from a first end face 11 to a second end face 12, and sealing parts 5 arranged at opening parts at one side of the cells 2. When pore sizes (μm) at which cumulative pore volumes are equal to 10%, 50% and 90% of total pore volumes are defined as D10, D50 and D90 respectively in a pore size distribution of the bulkheads 1 determined by structural analysis, all of the following formals (1)-(6) are satisfied: 3.9 μm<D10 (1) 10.5 μm<D50<16.6 μm (2) D90<38.7 μm (3) (logD90-logD10)/logD50<0.80 (4) logD90/logD50<1.36 (5) and logD50/logD10<1.56 (6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
