To provide a configuration that can removably attach a panel 12 to an apparatus body while preventing an increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: A panel 12 covers a part of an apparatus body to form a part of an exterior of an image forming apparatus. A panel holding body 14 is provided on the apparatus body and holds the panel 12 in a removably attachable manner. The panel 12 has a front plate part 121, an upper plate part 122, an opposite plate part 123, and a lower plate part 124. The opposite plate part 123 has first holes 12f, and the lower plate part 124 has second holes 12e. The panel holding body 14 has first projections that can be engaged with the first holes 12f, and second projections 14b that can be engaged with the second holes 12e.
