Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a video signal processing device that, while suppressing an increase in circuit scale, detects freezing of a video.CONSTITUTION: The video signal processing device comprises: a selection output unit that, upon receiving a video signal, sequentially selects and outputs a series of image data pieces for first to k-th divided image regions; a CRC computation circuit that executes CRC computation on the series of pixel data pieces outputted from the selection output unit; a computation result allocation unit that generates first to k-th inspection values corresponding to the first to k-th divided image regions, on the basis of the result of CRC computation; a sticking determination unit that determines whether there is a frame-to-frame change in the video of the first to k-th divided image regions, on the basis of the first to k-th inspection values corresponding to one frame and first to k-th inspection values corresponding to the other frames; and a video freeze detection unit that checks whether or not there continues a no-change state in the video over a prescribed number of frame periods, and thereby detects whether or not freezing of the video occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【目的】回路規模の増大を抑えつつ映像のフリーズを検出する映像信号処理装置を提供する。【構成】映像信号を受け、第1~第kの分割画像領域の画像データ片の系列を順次選択して出力する選択出力部と、選択出力部から出力された画素データ片の系列に対しCRC演算を実行するCRC演算回路と、CRC演算の結果に基づいて、第1~第kの分割画像領域に対応する第1~第kの検査値を生成する演算結果振り分け部と、1のフレームに対応する第1~第kの検査値と他のフレームに対応する第1~第kの検査値とに基づいて、第1~第kの分割画像領域の映像にフレーム間の変化があるかを判定する固着判定部と、所定数のフレーム期間に亘り映像に変化が無い状態が継続しているか否かを判定することにより、映像にフリーズが生じているか否かを検出する映像フリーズ検出部と、を含む。【選択図】図2
