Summary:To provide a rotation angle detector which can be downsized.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detector 2 includes: a first rotary member 3 and a second rotary member 4 which rotate at different rates in association with rotation of a steering shaft 171; a first magnet 51 attached to the first rotary member 3; a second magnet 52 attached to the second rotary member 4; and a magnetic field detection element 6 for detecting a magnetic field of the first magnet 51 and a magnetic field of the second magnet 52.
