Summary:To improve both of fuel economy and performance of aftertreatment.SOLUTION: A valve opening adjustment system includes: a recirculation passage 6 for recirculating exhaust gas discharged from partial cylinders out of a plurality of cylinders of an engine 11 to an intake passage 71 for introducing fresh air to the engine 11; a first flow regulating valve 51 that is provided in a first connection passage 41 for connecting an upstream side of a turbine 121 of the exhaust passage 73 and regulates a flow rate of exhaust gas flowing to the turbine 121; a second flow regulating valve 52 that is provided in a second connection passage 42 connecting the recirculation passage 6 with a portion between the turbine 121 of the exhaust passage 73 and an exhaust emission control device 14 and regulates a flow rate of exhaust gas flowing to the exhaust emission control device 14; and an opening adjustment section 823 that adjusts an opening of the first flow regulating valve 51 so that a compression ratio of fresh air becomes a compression ratio corresponding to required output of the engine 11 and adjusts an opening of the second flow regulating valve 52 so that a temperature of a catalyst 141 of the exhaust emission control device 14 becomes an activation temperature or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】燃費及び後処理の性能の両方を向上する。【解決手段】バルブ開度調整システムは、エンジン11の複数の気筒のうちの一部の気筒から排出される排気を、エンジン11に新気を導入する吸気通路71に再循環させる再循環通路6と、排気通路73のタービン121の上流を接続する第1接続通路41に設けられ、タービン121へ流れる排気の流量を調整する第1流量調整バルブ51と、再循環通路6と、排気通路73のタービン121及び排気浄化装置14の間とを接続する第2接続通路42に設けられ、排気浄化装置14へ流れる排気の流量を調整する第2流量調整バルブ52と、新気の圧縮率がエンジン11の要求出力に応じた圧縮率になるように第1流量調整バルブ51の開度を調整するとともに、排気浄化装置14の触媒141の温度が活性温度以上になるように第2流量調整バルブ52の開度を調整する開度調整部823と、を有する。【選択図】図1
