To provide a transmission device excellent in durability and capable of simplifying a structure.SOLUTION: A transmission device 1 comprises: an input shaft 2 that rotates around its axial line due to transmitted power; a plurality of deceleration mechanisms 3, 4 that decelerates the rotation of the input shaft 2 in multiple stages; and an output shaft 5. The plurality of deceleration mechanisms 3, 4 includes a first deceleration mechanism 3, and a second deceleration mechanism 4 located on a rear stage side of a rotational force transmission path with respect to the first deceleration mechanism 3.
