Summary:To provide an electric motor which can shorten axial length of a rotational axis and suppress occurrence of an eddy current loss.SOLUTION: An electric motor comprises a slot insulation member 60 which is arranged between coils 40 adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction of a yoke in a slot 33. The slot insulation member 60 comprises: a body part 61 having a shape to narrow from a rotor toward the yoke; and a projection 62 projecting from the body part 61 toward the coils 40 adjacent to each other in the slot 33 as a wedge-shaped spacer which presses the coils 40 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the yoke to teeth 32 around which the coils 40 are wound. The coil 40 comprises: a coil main part 41 which is held by the projection 62 and the teeth 32 in the slot 33; a coil end 42 which is molded wider than the coil main part 41 and contacts the body part 61 outside the slot 33; and a coil bent part 43 which connects the coil main part 41 and the coil end 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】回転軸の軸長を短くできるとともに、渦電流損の発生を抑制できる電動機を提供する。【解決手段】電動機は、スロット33内において、ヨークの周方向に隣り合うコイル40の間に配置されるスロット絶縁部材60を備える。スロット絶縁部材60は、ヨークの周方向に隣り合うコイル40を当該コイル40が巻回されたティース32に押圧する楔状スペーサとして、ロータからヨークに向けて幅狭となる形状を有する本体部61と、スロット33内において隣り合うコイル40に向けて本体部61から突出する突出部62とを有している。コイル40は、スロット33内において、突出部62とティース32とによって挟持されるコイル主部41と、スロット33外において、コイル主部41よりも幅広に成形されるとともに本体部61に当接するコイルエンド42と、コイル主部41とコイルエンド42とを繋ぐコイル屈曲部43とを有している。【選択図】図3
