To suppress the flowing of powders of a storage material from the inside to the outside of a housing space.SOLUTION: A gas container is equipped with a cylindrical container body that has an inner space, a mouth piece that is attached to an axial end portion of the container body and has a communication path communicating the inner space to the outside of the container body, a cylindrical housing member that is disposed in the inner space and has a partitioning wall partitioning the housing space, and a storage material that is formed in a state in which powder is solidified, is housed in the housing space to be held by the partitioning wall, and occludes and discharges gas. The storage material has a first storage portion disposed at an axial center portion in the housing space, and a second storage portion disposed in at least one of axial both end portions of the housing space, and having high breakage resistance as compared with the first storage portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】貯蔵材の粉末が収容空間の内部から外部へ流れ出すのを抑えること。【解決手段】ガス容器は、内部空間を有する筒状の容器本体と、容器本体の軸方向端部に取り付けられ、内部空間を前器本体の外部に連通させる連通路を有する口金と、内部空間に配置され、収容空間を区画する区画壁を有する筒状の収容部材と、粉末を固めた状態に形成され、収容空間に収容されて区画壁に保持され、ガスを吸蔵すると共に放出する貯蔵材と、を備える。貯蔵材は、収容空間の軸方向中央部に配置される第一貯蔵部と、収容空間の軸方向両端部の少なくとも一方に配置され、第一貯蔵部に比して耐破損性が高い第二貯蔵部と、を有する。【選択図】図５
