To provide a novel method for measuring sterol in lipoprotein, a reagent, and a reagent kit.SOLUTION: There is formed a composite body including lipoprotein including a tag-added sterol and a first capturing body, by bringing lipoprotein in a sample obtained from a subject, a tag-added sterol obtained by adding a tag to the C3 position of a sterol skelton, and a first capturing body specifically binding to the tag and having a label material in contact with one another.
