To provide a circuit breaker which, when a connection failure in a terminal portion is detected, displays the location and allows the location of the occurrence to be easily recognized.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker includes overcurrent detection means that detects an overcurrent in an electric circuit L, a disconnecting unit 12 that opens and disconnects a contact unit 11 provided in the electric circuit, a connection failure detection unit 13 detects a connection failure when the connection failure occurs at any of a power supply side terminal 2 and a load side terminal 3, a control unit 15 that causes the disconnecting unit 12 to operate to shut off when the connection failure occurs, and a display unit 14 that indicates the location of the connection failure, and can recognizes the terminal in which the connection failure has occurred by the display on the display unit 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 端子部の接続不良を検出した場合、その場所がどこであるか表示し、発生場所を容易に認識できる回路遮断器を提供する。【解決手段】 電路Ｌの過電流を検知する過電流検知手段と、電路に設けた接点部１１を開操作して遮断動作させる遮断部１２と、電源側端子２及び負荷側端子３のうちの何れかの端子で接続不良が発生したら、それを検出する接続不良検出部１３と、接続不良が発生したら遮断部１２を遮断動作させる制御部１５と、接続不良発生場所を示す表示部１４を有し、表示部１４の表示により接続不良が発生した端子を認識できる。【選択図】 図１
