Summary:To provide a steering feeling estimation method that allows steering feelings experienced when a subject performs a steering operation of a vehicle to be objectively evaluated.SOLUTION: A steering feeling estimation method measures a physiological index of a first subject when the first subject performs a steering operation of a vehicle (S4 and S6), acquires a sensitivity evaluation result, which is the result of the first subject evaluating the steering feelings when the steering operation is performed using a sensitivity evaluation word (S5), determines a correlative physiological index, which is a physiological index having correlation with the sensitivity evaluation result on the basis of a correlation analysis between a measurement result of the physiological index of the first subject and the sensitivity evaluation result (S7 and S8), measures a correlative physiological index of a second subject when the second subject performs the steering operation of the vehicle (S10 and S11), and estimates the steering feelings of the second subject on the basis of the correlative physiological index of the second subject (S12 and S13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】被験者が車両の操舵操作を行ったときに感じた操舵感覚を客観的に評価できる操舵感覚推定方法を提供する。【解決手段】操舵感覚推定方法では、第1被験者が車両の操舵操作を行ったときの第1被験者の生理指標を測定し(S4、S6)、操舵操作を行ったときの操舵感覚を第1被験者が感性評価語を用いて評価した結果である感性評価結果を取得し(S5)、第1被験者の生理指標の測定結果と感性評価結果との間の相関分析に基づいて感性評価結果と相関のある生理指標である有相関生理指標を決定し(S7、S8)、第2被験者が車両の操舵操作を行ったときの第2被験者の有相関生理指標を測定し(S10、S11)、第2被験者の有相関生理指標に基づいて第2被験者の操舵感覚を推定する(S12、S13)。【選択図】図4
