Summary:To continue motor driving while suppressing torque fluctuation even after failure of a switching element.SOLUTION: In a power conversion circuit 30, a circuit breaker 70 is installed on an output line of each phase, to conduct or break alternating current. A power-semiconductor failure-location determination unit 18 determines a failure location of a switching element. A circuit breaker controller 17 sets a phase corresponding to the switching element determined to be the failure location by the power-semiconductor failure-location determination unit 18 as a failure phase, to control the circuit breaker 70 of the failure phase so as to conduct alternating current of the failure phase in a predetermined specified electric angle within one cycle of the electric angle, and break alternating current of the failure phase in the other electric angle except the specified electric angle. A failure-time current controller 15 controls driving of the other switching element different from the switching element determined to be the failure location.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】スイッチング素子故障後であっても、トルク変動を抑えつつ、モータ駆動を継続する。【解決手段】電力変換回路30において、遮断器70は、各相の出力線上に設けられて交流電流を導通または遮断する。パワー半導体故障箇所判定部18は、スイッチング素子の故障箇所を判定する。遮断器制御部17は、パワー半導体故障箇所判定部18により故障箇所と判定されたスイッチング素子に対応する相を故障相として、電気角の1周期のうち所定の特定電気角において故障相の交流電流が導通され、特定電気角を除く他の電気角において故障相の交流電流が遮断されるように、故障相の遮断器70を制御する。故障時電流制御部15は、故障箇所と判定されたスイッチング素子とは異なる他のスイッチング素子の駆動を制御する。【選択図】図2
