Summary:To provide a production method of an absorbent article capable of securing sufficient bond strength of a junction of a leakage prevention cuff, the leakage prevention cuff being excellent in touch feeling.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of an absorbent article comprising: a band-shaped body forming step for arranging an original fabric 7a of a waterproof film and an elastic member 61 between original fabrics 60a of a cuff formation sheet, for forming a belt-shaped body 70; a folding step for folding the band-shaped body 70 for forming a bent part 64; and a junction step for introducing the band-shaped body 70 into a space between a pair of thermal load rolls 80, for joining facing first and second parts on parts corresponding to both end parts of the leakage prevention cuff in a vertical direction, for forming a junction. A heating temperature of a pattern roll 82 on the thermal load roll 80 is set to become greater than a melting point of a constitution resin of the waterproof film and become lower than a melting point of a constitution resin of the cuff formation sheet, and a heating temperature of an anvil roll 81 is set to become lower than the melting point of the constitution resin of the waterproof film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】防漏カフの接合部の接合強度を十分に確保するとともに、肌触りに優れた防漏カフを具備する、吸収性物品の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の吸収性物品の製造方法は、カフ形成用シートの原反60a間に、防水フィルムの原反7a及び弾性部材61を配して、帯状体70を形成する帯状体形成工程と、帯状体70を折り返して、折り曲げ部64を形成する折り返し工程と、一対の熱負荷ロール80間に帯状体70を導入し、防漏カフの縦方向の両端部に相当する部分において、相対向する第1部分と第2部分とを接合し、接合部を形成する接合工程とを具備している。熱負荷ロール80におけるパターンロール82の加熱温度を、防水フィルムの構成樹脂の融点よりも高く、且つカフ形成用シートの構成樹脂の融点よりも低く、アンビルロール81の加熱温度を、防水フィルムの構成樹脂の融点よりも低く制御する。【選択図】図5
