To provide a connector which allows improvement in workability when it is fitted to a mating connector.SOLUTION: A housing 11 has: a first member 16 which supports a slider 14 serving as a lever member; and a second member 17 which houses, in a housing space 25 formed between itself and the first member 16, a seal member 15 in a manner of sandwiching it in a front-to-rear direction. The second member 17 has a pressed part 29. The lever member has a pressing part 65 which comes into contact with the pressed part 29 so as to press the second member 17 in a direction in which a front-to-rear dimension of the housing space 25 (a thickness dimension of the seal member 15) is reduced. The pressed part 29 is disposed in a state where the engagement with the lever member is released until it comes into contact with the pressing part 65 during a displacement process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 【課題】相手側コネクタとの嵌合時における作業性の向上を図ることができるコネクタを提供する。【解決手段】ハウジング１１は、レバー部材としてのスライダ１４を支持する第１部材１６と、第１部材１６との間に形成された収容空間２５にシール部材１５を前後方向に挟み込むように収容する第２部材１７と、を有している。第２部材１７は、被押圧部２９を有している。レバー部材は、被押圧部２９と接触し、収容空間２５の前後寸法（シール部材１５の厚み寸法）を縮小する向きに第２部材１７を押圧する押圧部６５を有している。被押圧部２９は、変位過程で押圧部６５と接触するまでの間、レバー部材と非係合な状態で配置されている。【選択図】図１５
