Summary:To accurately determine disturbance light such as sunlight and turn-on and turn-off of indoor lighting according to the characteristics of the indoor lighting without the need of a sensor other than an illuminance sensor.SOLUTION: A light detection device comprises: an optical sensor that detects the luminance inside a room; and an illumination determination unit that determines if lighting inside the room is turned on or turned off based on the transition of the detected luminance. The illumination determination unit determines that the lighting is turned on or turned off when (1) luminance transition that is rise or fall of luminance with an intensity exceeding a first threshold is detected, (2) the difference between the rate of change of the luminance in a pre-transition period being a period before an in-transition period as a period of the luminance transition and the rate of change of the luminance in a post-transition period being a period after the in-transition period is less than a second threshold as an absolute value, and (3) the difference between the rate of change of the luminance in the in-transition period and the rate of change of the luminance in the pre-transition period exceeds a third threshold as an absolute value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】照度センサ以外のセンサを必要とせずに、また、室内照明灯の特性に応じて、太陽光等の外乱光と室内照明灯の点灯および消灯を精度よく判別する。【解決手段】室内の照度を検出する光センサと、検出された照度の推移に基づいて、室内にある照明灯が点灯したか消灯したかを判定する照明判定部とを備え、照明判定部は、(1)第1閾値を超える大きさの照度の立ち上がりまたは立下りである照度遷移が検出され、(2)照度遷移の期間としての遷移中期間より前の期間である遷移前期間における照度の変化率と遷移中期間より後の期間である遷移後期間における照度の変化率との差分が絶対値として第2閾値未満であり、(3)遷移中期間における照度の変化率と遷移前期間における照度の変化率との差が、絶対値として第3閾値を超える場合に、照明灯が点灯または消灯したと判定する光検出装置。【選択図】図1
