The information processing apparatus determines whether a plurality of target objects belong to the acquired candidate position, and divides the candidate position determined to have the plurality of target objects belonging thereto into plurality. 【課題】画像内で複数の対象物体が近接したり一部が重なったりする場合でも、高い精度で個々の対象物体を同定可能にする。【解決手段】情報処理装置は、画像から対象物体が存在する確からしさを示す尤度値のマップを生成し、そのマップを基に対象物体が存在する候補位置を取得する。さらに情報処理装置は、取得した候補位置に属する対象物体が複数か否かを判定し、複数と判定された前記候補位置を複数に分離する。そして情報処理装置は、時系列の画像ごとの候補位置を基に、その時系列の画像中の対象物体を同定する。【選択図】図1 |
