To suppress a recording medium from floating, by controlling a portion where to float of the recording medium occurs.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: conveying means; recording means that records an image on a conveyed recording medium; a platen part that supports the conveyed recording medium from below, while opposing to the recording means; regulating means, arranged at a downstream side of the recording means in a conveying direction, which regulates a height of the recording medium from an upper side of the recording medium; and a guide part, arranged at a downstream side of the platen part, which guides conveyance of the recording medium. The guide part includes a first downward inclined part inclined from the platen part, a second downward inclined part arranged closer to a downstream side in the conveying direction with respect to the first downward inclined part, and an upward inclined part inclined from the second downward inclined part.
