Summary: | To measure the shape and position of a workpiece without requiring preliminary preparation of three-dimensional CAD data, etc.SOLUTION: A workpiece measurement method for measuring the shape and position of a workpiece composed of a plurality of components includes: an acquisition step of acquiring three-dimensional point cloud data of the workpiece; an outline estimation step of estimating one or more boundary frames that each indicate an outline corresponding to each of the plurality of components, using the point cloud data and a condition defined in correspondence with the shape of the workpiece to be measured; and an optimization step of optimizing the one or plurality of boundary frames estimated in the outline estimation step by adjustment of a parameter in accordance with an evaluation function, and identifying a shape of each of the plurality of components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
