Summary: | To provide a shield wire and a manufacturing method for the same that make it possible to securely fit a second tubular body to a mating connector.SOLUTION: A second tubular body 40 has a polygonal tubular crimping portion 41 having a plurality of corner portions 43 and a tubular connecting portion 42 that is configured alongside the crimping portion 41 in the axial direction of the second tubular body 40 in one body. A folded portion 21 of an electromagnetic shield member 20 is arranged inside the crimping portion 41 and crimped to the crimping portion 41. The crimping portion 41 has a protrusion portion 44 protruding on the outer circumferential side from a portion of the corner portions 43. Furthermore, a first length D1 from a central axis L1 of the second tubular body 40 to an end surface 44b of the protrusion portion 44 is equal to or less than a second length D2 from the central axis L1 to the outer circumferential surface of the connecting portion 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
