Summary:To provide a magnet fixing structure for detecting a rotation speed of a rotary shaft so as to improve reliability of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A magnet fixing structure comprises: an annular fixing member 41 which is mounted to a rotary shaft 3 of a rotary electric machine; and at least one magnet 42, which is mounted to the fixing member 41, for detecting a rotation speed of the rotary shaft 3. The fixing member 41 includes: a cylindrical part 41A extrapolated over an entire circumference of the rotary shaft 3; and a magnet fixing part 41B for fixing the magnet 42 at an outer peripheral position of the cylindrical part 41A.
