The modified polymer exists on the surface of the substrate, the modified polymer has a water content of 3% or more, and the amount of the introduced acidic functional group is 0.02-1.60 mmol/g..SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明は、抗凝固剤の吸着を抑制し、かつ、血液成分の吸着能、特にインターロイキン８の吸着能に優れる血液成分吸着材料を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、水不溶性の基材と、硫酸基、亜硫酸基及びスルホン酸基からなる群から選択される酸性官能基を含む化合物が重合体の側鎖又は末端にアミド結合を介して結合した改質重合体と、を有し、上記改質重合体は、上記基材の表面に存在し、上記改質重合体の含水率が３％以上であり、かつ、上記酸性官能基の導入量が０．０２～１．６０ｍｍｏｌ／ｇである、血液成分吸着材料を提供する。【選択図】なし
