Summary:To solve a problem in which: the arrangement of a driving section for driving a diaphragm and a driving section for driving a lens may inhibit a reduction in the size and thickness of a terminal device having an optical unit mounted thereon.SOLUTION: An optical unit comprises: a reflection optical system that reflects a light beam incident from a first direction in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; an imaging optical system that forms the light beam reflected in the second direction into an image; a first driving section that moves at least a part of the imaging optical system along the second direction; a light quantity adjustment section that is provided in a light path of the light beam reflected in the second direction; and a second driving section that drives the light quantity adjustment section.
