Summary:To provide an optical laminate that can achieve thinning, and can decrease reflectance.SOLUTION: An optical laminate according to an embodiment of the present invention has: a polarizer that includes a lyotropic liquid crystalline polymer and a dichroic substance; and a phase difference layer that is disposed on one side in a thickness direction of the polarizer. A sum total of a thickness of the polarizer and a thickness of the phase difference layer is equal to or less than 7 μm. The lyotropic liquid crystalline polymer has a constitution unit that includes a ring structure, a coupling group to be bonded to the ring structure, a sulfo group and/or a sulfonic acid salt group. The coupling group couples a plurality of ring structures included in the same constitution unit, or couples the ring structure included in a different constitution unit, and includes sp3 carbon and/or amide bond.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】薄型化を図ることができ、かつ、反射率を低減できる光学積層体を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の実施形態による光学積層体は、リオトロピック液晶性ポリマーおよび二色性物質を含む偏光子と;前記偏光子の厚み方向の一方側に配置される位相差層と;を備えている。前記偏光子の厚みと前記位相差層の厚みとの総和は、7μm以下である。前記リオトロピック液晶性ポリマーは、環構造と、環構造に結合される連結基と、スルホ基および/またはスルホン酸塩基と、を含む構成単位を有している。前記連結基は、同一の構成単位に含まれる複数の環構造を連結するか、または、異なる構成単位に含まれる環構造を連結し、sp3炭素および/またはアミド結合を含んでいる。【選択図】図1
