Summary:To provide a liquid crystal display device that can prevent influence of noise and obtain positional information.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate having a pixel electrode and a common electrode which partly overlap with each other with a first insulating film interposed therebetween; a second substrate having a pair of electrodes which partly overlap with each other with a second insulating film interposed therebetween, a resin film covering the pair of electrodes, and a conductive film on the resin film; and a liquid crystal layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate, and between the pixel electrode and the common electrode, and the conductive film.
