Summary:To provide an antibacterial composite that can be suitably used as an effective ingredient of an antibacterial composition that has small environmental influence with a copper content less than a conventional copper agent and with a small amount of application, and can obtain antibacterial effect same as before or more than ever, and particularly suitable for agricultural usage, as well as, can be applied to various usages other than the agricultural usage.SOLUTION: An antibacterial composite of the present invention comprises a carrier that is a nanostructure made of a biopolymer, a metal or metal oxide that is a nanoparticle supported on the carrier, and an adjuvant having multiple positive charges, wherein a mass ratio of the content of the adjuvant to the content of the carrier [(adjuvant)/(carrier)] is 0.01 or more and 15 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】従来の銅剤より少ない銅含有量もしくは少ない施用量で、環境への影響が小さく、かつ従来と同等もしくはそれを上回る抗菌効果が得られる、農業用途に特に適した抗菌性組成物の有効成分として、並びに、農業用途以外の各種の用途に適用することができる抗菌性組成物の有効成分として使用するのに適した抗菌性複合体を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の抗菌性複合体は、生体高分子からなるナノ構造体である担体と、前記担体に担持されたナノ粒子である金属または金属酸化物と、多価の正電荷を有する補助剤とを含有し、前記担体の含有量に対する前記補助剤の含有量の質量比[(補助剤)/(担体)]が、0.01以上15以下である。【選択図】なし
