To provide a compact and simple controller which is easy to use.SOLUTION: There is provided a controller 1 for a timepiece 200 that includes: an input 2 intended to be rotated in a first or second direction through a user's action; a first unidirectional connector 3 intended to mechanically connect the input 2 to a first mechanism 5 providing a first timepiece function; and a second unidirectional connector 4 intended to mechanically connect the input 2 to a second mechanism 6 providing a second timepiece function.
