To provide a belt unit with which, even when an axial external force acts upon a belt skew controlled roller, it is possible to suitably exercise belt skew control over a long period.SOLUTION: Provided is a belt unit 10 comprising: a belt member 9 which is stretched over a support rotor and driven to travel; a belt abutment member 24 which is disposed to a revolving shaft 21a of a first support rotor 21 and which, when an end of the belt member moves in the axial direction of the revolving shaft, contacts the end and is movable in the axial direction together with the belt member; a support rotor displacement member 25 which is movable in the axial direction following the movement of said member, causing the first support rotor to be displaced; a guide member 26c for regulating the movement direction of the support rotor displacement member; a support member 30 for rotatably supporting the first support rotor and the revolving shaft; a regulation member 34 for regulating the movement of the first support rotor and the revolving shaft in the axial direction; and an elastically deformable intermediate member 39 which is disposed between the support member and the regulation member in the axial direction and prevents the support member and the regulation member from contacting each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】ベルト寄りを制御しているローラに軸方向への外力が作用しても、長期にわたり良好にベルト寄り制御を行うことが可能なベルトユニットの提供。【解決手段】支持回転体に掛け渡された走行駆動されるベルト部材９と、第一支持回転体２１の回転軸２１ａに設けられ、回転軸の軸方向にベルト部材の端部が移動した際に、端部に接触してベルト部材と共に軸方向に移動可能なベルト突き当て部材２４と、当該部材の移動に伴い軸方向に移動可能であり第一支持回転体を変位させる支持回転体変位部材２５と、支持回転体変位部材の移動方向を規制するガイド部材２６ｃと、第一支持回転体及び回転軸を回転自在に支持する支持部材３０と、第一支持回転体及び回転軸の軸方向への移動を規制する規制部材３４と、軸方向において支持部材と規制部材との間に設けられ、支持部材と規制部材とが接触することを防止する弾性変形可能な中間部材３９とを有するベルトユニット１０。【選択図】図５
