To provide a display that has improved resistance against water.SOLUTION: A display according to an embodiment comprises: a substrate; an insulating layer arranged above the substrate; a lower electrode arranged above the insulating layer in a display area including pixels; an upper electrode facing the lower electrode; an organic layer arranged in the display area and a peripheral area around the display area, wherein a portion arranged in the display area is located between the lower electrode and the upper electrode, and the portion emits light according to the potential difference between the lower electrode and the upper electrode; and a first ridge arranged in the peripheral area. The first ridge has a lower part, and an upper part arranged on the lower part and having an end projecting from a side face of the lower part.
