Summary: | SOLUTION: There is provided a golf ball which comprises a core comprising one layer or two or more layers, and a cover of one layer or two or more layers, coating the core, and in which a deflection at the time of loading a specific load on the core is 3.8 mm or more, at least in an innermost core (center core) in the core, a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of cross-sectional hardness from the center to the surface measured by a specific method is 8 or less at JIS-C hardness, and the innermost core is formed from a rubber composition containing the following (a)-(f) components of (a) base material rubber, (b) α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its metal salt, (c) diacyl peroxide, (d) dialkyl peroxide, and/or peroxyketal, and (f) phenolic age resister.EFFECT: A golf ball can be improved in a carry by realizing a low spin characteristic of a ball when a golfer of a low head speed strikes with a driver (W#1) by suppressing reduction of durability as much as possible.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【解決手段】1層又は2層以上からなるコアと、該コアを被覆する1層又は2層以上のカバーとを具備してなるゴルフボールにおいて、上記コアに対して、特定負荷荷重時のたわみ量が3.8mm以上であり、上記コアのうち少なくとも最内芯(センターコア)は、特定の方法により測定される中心から表面までの断面硬度において、最大値と最小値との差がJIS-C硬度で8以下であり、上記最内芯は、下記(a)~(f)成分(a)基材ゴム、(b)α,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその金属塩、(c)ジアシルパーオキサイド類、(d)ジアルキルパーオキサイド類及び/又はパーオキシケタール類、及び(f)フェノール系老化防止剤を含むゴム組成物により形成されるゴルフボール。【効果】本発明のゴルフボールは、耐久性の低下を極力抑えて低ヘッドスピードのゴルファーがドライバー(W#1)で打撃した時のボールの低スピン特性を実現して飛距離が改善し得る。【選択図】なし |
