Summary:To improve operability of a continuum robot.SOLUTION: A continuum robot system includes: a continuum robot including a curve capable body and a proximal part provided with the curve capable body; a support base including a movable stage for supporting the continuum robot so as to be detachable and movable along a straight line; and an arm for supporting the support base and rotatable about a first axis.
