Summary:To promote defrosting from a surface of a heat exchanger to obtain excellent heat exchange efficiency for a long period, even when frost adheres to the surface of the heat exchanger, in a heat exchange system comprising a defrosting mechanism.SOLUTION: A heat exchange system comprises: a heat exchanger that is in contact with moisture-containing air and exchanges heat between a refrigerant flowing therein and the air to cool the air; a supply member holding an additive that reduces a contact angle of moisture adhering to the surface of the heat exchanger with respect to the surface of the heat exchanger; and a defrosting mechanism that defrosts frost generated by moisture adhering to the surface of the heat exchanger.
