To solve the problem that an abnormality of output of a Hall sensor cannot be accurately detected.SOLUTION: A motor controller comprises: a storage unit which preliminarily stores abnormal patterns showing abnormalities of output values of Hall sensors represented by combination of output values of a plurality of Hall sensors, prior patterns immediately before appearance of the abnormal patterns, and posterior patterns immediately after the appearance of the abnormal patterns; and a detection unit which detects whether the output values of the plurality of Hall sensors output by the plurality of Hall sensors are the abnormal patterns stored in the storage unit. When it is detected that the output values of the plurality of Hall sensors are the abnormal patterns stored in the storage unit, the detection unit verifies whether the output values of the Hall sensors immediately before the appearance of the abnormal patterns are the prior patterns stored in the storage unit and the output values of the Hall sensors immediately after the appearance of the abnormal patterns are the posterior patterns stored in the storage unit, and drives a motor on the basis of results of verification by the detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ホールセンサの出力の異常を精度よく検出できない。【解決手段】複数のホールセンサの出力値の組み合わせにより表したホールセンサの出力値の異常を示す異常パターンと、異常パターンが出現する直前の事前パターンと、異常パターンが出現した直後の事後パターンとを予め記憶する記憶部と、複数のホールセンサより出力された複数のホールセンサの出力値が記憶部に記憶された異常パターンであるかを検出する検出部と、を備え、検出部は、複数のホールセンサの出力値が記憶部に記憶された異常パターンであることを検出した場合、異常パターンが出現する直前のホールセンサの出力値が記憶部に記憶された事前パターンであり、且つ、異常パターンが出現した直後のホールセンサの出力値が記憶部に記憶された事後パターンであるかを照合し、検出部による照合の結果に基づいてモータを駆動するモータ制御装置。【選択図】図１
